JUVELOOK

JUVELOOK is a skinbooster:
- Based on PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid), a biostimulating component to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin.
- PDLLA particles have a patented reticular structure that maximises the surface area in contact with the tissues, promoting effectiveness in skin regeneration.
- The gel base consists of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which improves tissue compatibility and promotes immediate rehydration.

- COMPOSITION: 42.4 mg poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA), 7.5 mg hyaluronic acid.
- PRESENTATION: 1 x 50 mg.
- INDICATIONS: For skin renewal: improves skin elasticity and texture, rejuvenates the skin in the long term, increases skin hydration.
For periocular treatment: reduce droopy eyelids, improve bags under the eyes, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve dark circles.
For texture improvement: improves fine lines and wrinkles, reduces pore size, improves acne scars.
- INJECTION DEPTH: Deep intradermal layer, with the exception of the periocular area, where the injection must be performed in the subcutaneous layer using a cannula.
- NEEDLES: Needles 30-32G; Cannulas 25-27G, 40-50 mm for the lacrimal groove area.
- DURATION: 12 to 18 months.
- USE: Strict medical use.

- Before injection, be sure to properly reconstitute the powder with sterile solution as per protocol (sterile water or saline) to ensure homogeneous dispersion of the particles.
- Avoid superficial injections: the recommended depth is the deep dermis; a cannula is recommended for the periocular area.
- Gently massage (or handle) the area after injection to promote proper distribution of the product and reduce the risk of nodules.
- Avoid aggressive skin treatments (peeling, laser, intense radiofrequency) in the weeks immediately following treatment. (based on general good practice, see also Chem Kim's post-treatment instructions)
- Monitor the patient for possible local reactions (swelling, redness, ecchymosis) and inform them that PDLLA turnover occurs progressively and is biodegradable.

- JUVELOOK should not be used in the event of active skin infection, inflammation or injury in the area to be treated.
- It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) or non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid in the formulation.
- It should not be used in individuals with active autoimmune diseases or conditions that impair skin healing.
- It is contraindicated in patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- It should not be injected in areas where its use may interfere with important vascular structures if not performed by adequately trained personnel, to avoid the risk of vascular occlusions.

JUVELOOK is indicated for the gentle improvement of fine lines and atrophic (acne) scars, improvement of skin texture and radiance. Gives a firming and volumising effect on thinner skin. Reduces pores and stretch marks. JUVELOOK can be used in a wide age range, from 20 to 80 years.
