MD-KNEE is a collagen-based injectable medical device designed to improve knee mobility, relieve pain and promote muscle relaxation. Indicated in cases of gonarthrosis, chondropathy, ligament lesions, meniscopathy and bursitis, it acts as a mechanical support and lubricant for the joint, promoting a barrier effect and protection during movement.

Knee.
Collagen of porcine origin, Arnica, NaCl, Injectable water.
- Use only by or on the prescription of qualified healthcare personnel, in a sterile environment and using appropriate technique (peri- or intra-articular injection) with respect for asepsis.
- The product contains collagen of animal (porcine) origin: in patients with established sensitivity or possible allergy to animal collagen, a small preliminary injection test (e.g. in the arm) and observation for at least one hour is recommended.
- Gongies treated with MD-KNEE require an accurate differential diagnosis: there could be, for example, involvement of ligaments, menisci, prepatellar bursitis, inflammatory arthropathy, gout, septic arthritis. It is essential to ascertain the correct origin of the problem before treatment.
- The product is disposable: a vial must not be reused, and must be injected immediately after opening.
- Do not use the product if the packaging appears damaged or tampered with, or if the seal is broken.
- Store between 2 °C and 30 °C, protect from sunlight and frost.
- After injection, mild local reactions such as pain, redness or a burning sensation at the injection site may occur, which usually resolve within a few minutes.
MD-KNEE is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.
- Pregnancy and lactation.
MD-KNEE is particularly indicated in cases of patellofemoral and patellofemoral gonarthrosis, patellofemoral chondropathy, arthrosynovitis, ligament injuries, meniscopathy and bursitis of the knee.
